Unlike many fighting games, you don't need to input each attack of the combo simple combinations of inputs (well, simple relative to some games - they can still be quite challenging) generate long strings of attacks. Success requires mastering your character's combos, chains of attacks that can add up to serious damage. Many players use arcade-style fightsticks, although it isn't necessary to have one in order to play.
